The second webinar in a series of three, organized by SPACE CoE and NCC Czechia, is scheduled for 1 October 2024. The webinar titled A Kinetic Approach to Simulating Plasmas Using iPic3D is designed for researchers interested in particle-in-cell methods and high-performance computing. The presenters will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of particle-in-cell methods and their suitability for astrophysical environments, followed by an overview of recent and planned improvements for the iPic3D code.
