Join us for a two-day course on deep learning, covering neural networks and data analysis for curious beginners and advanced data enthusiasts alike! SURF and NCC Netherlands are hosting a two-day course on high-performance machine learning on 5-6 October 2023.
During the first day of the course, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in machine learning theories and algorithmic insights. For instance, you can work with a high-level machine learning API such as Keras, or explore hyperparameter space to enhance a neural network. Moreover, the course will delve into fully connected networks, convolutional networks, and autoencoders. On the second day of the training, you will gain knowledge on how to set up preinstalled software environments and overcome file limitations that can hamper your training speed. You will also learn about the technical capabilities of modern CPUs and GPUs, and how to utilize multiple CPUs or GPUs in a single training process. Finally, you will discover how to identify bottlenecks in your code by creating a profile in PyTorch.
