On 12 December 2023, from 11:00 to 13:00 CET, the French National Competence Center in High-Performance Computing will be hosting a webinar focused on flow simulation for the drone and light aircraft industries. Since its introduction in 1984, the numerical simulation of flow (CFD) has become a widely used tool across several industries. While commercial aviation has quickly integrated CFD into its design processes, the same cannot be said for light aviation. This webinar will address why this is the case, what tools are available, and their advantages and disadvantages. Additionally, it will cover how to bring CFD into the world of light aviation for design and training purposes.
