CoE MaX (Materials design at the eXascale), in collaboration with NCC Czechia, NCC Austria, NCC Slovakia, NCC Slovenia, NCC Poland, and NCC Hungary, is hosting an online school on materials and molecular modeling with Quantum ESPRESSO from 19 June to 21 June 2024.
The course provides a comprehensive curriculum that intends to cover the primary features of the Quantum ESPRESSO code. It focuses on practical skill development and offers a hands-on learning experience, balancing theory and application. The course caters to a beginner to intermediate level, aiming to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to effectively use Quantum ESPRESSO in their academic and research pursuits.
This school is intended for individuals who have a background in condensed matter physics or chemistry and are interested in acquiring skills to use Quantum ESPRESSO. The curriculum will cover the main features of the code and teach basic user skills such as compiling, simple scripting, choosing parallel options, and other similar skills.
