SLING - Slovenian National Competence Center in High-Performance Computing is hosting an online workshop on Parallel Computing with R on 18 January 2024. This workshop aims to teach participants how to access the HPC FS system at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana and begin using R on this system. Additionally, participants will learn how to clone a pre-prepared project from GitHub and conduct advanced data management using R, incorporating all parallel programming R libraries and utilizing available supercomputing resources.
The workshop will be held virtually on Zoom and is intended for researchers and data scientists with a basic knowledge of R who want to upgrade their skills in HPC.
