Last week, we had the opportunity to visit our colleagues from NCC Montenegro and attend the IT 2025 conference in Žabljak, Montenegro. The conference attracted over 100 students from across the country. During the event, several sessions were organized focusing on EuroCC2 and EuroCC4SEE. Alongside our colleagues from NCC Turkey, NCC North Macedonia, and NCC Bosnia and Herzegovina, we presented the projects and highlighted our primary goals of developing and supporting high-performance computing (HPC), high-performance data analysis (HPDA), and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the region.

On Thursday, we discussed several important topics, including capacity building and skills development, technical feasibility, and migration strategies. The next session showcased various use cases that sparked discussions on expert consultation, research challenges, collaboration matchmaking, and the synergy between industry and academia.

On Friday, we conducted a private EuroCC4SEE session where all partners presented their plans for future development. We identified several areas to enhance our collaboration, defined specific action points, and aligned our training programs.
