Yesterday, the Serbian daily newspaper Evening News (Večernje novosti) published a story about HPC Serbia and Serbia's involvement in EuroHPC projects. The article, titled They Paved the Way for Supercomputers, features an interview with Dr. Antun Balaž, the leader of HPC Serbia. Dr. Balaž highlighted the significance of the EuroCC and EuroCC4SEE projects, noting that they connect Serbia with leading European centers for high-performance computing (HPC). He also emphasized that these initiatives aim to support the implementation of HPC in academic institutions, the public sector, and interested small and medium-sized enterprises. "This support is crucial for enhancing competitiveness and developing new products and services in a knowledge-based society, which is a strategic goal for our country", Dr. Balaž stated. He added that Serbia's membership in EuroHPC last year has opened up opportunities for researchers to participate in projects funded by this program.
In the past month, HPC Serbia has also been highlighted in the daily newspaper Politika and the weekly magazine Vreme as part of the announcement for a series of lectures on complex systems held at the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment in Belgrade. A common theme among these lectures is the use of HPC resources offered by HPC Serbia.
