BioExcel CoE, NCC Sweden, and NCC Turkey are jointly organizing a hybrid event on biomolecular modeling and simulations, scheduled to take place online and on-site from 9 to 10 April 2025. The registration deadline is 24 March 2025.
The training program is structured over four comprehensive sessions designed to enhance participants' understanding and skills in biomolecular simulations. The first session focuses on integrative modeling of biomolecular complexes using HADDOCK, blending theoretical lectures with hands-on practice. This is followed by an exploration of Molecular Dynamics Simulations with GROMACS, offering insights into effective simulation techniques. The third session delves into interoperable and reproducible biomolecular simulation workflows through BioExcel Building Blocks (BioBB), ensuring participants can implement and utilize these tools effectively. Lastly, the program concludes with a deep dive into the fundamentals and practical applications of free energy calculations using PMX, combining both lectures and hands-on experience to solidify learning outcomes.
Please note that all registered participants will have the opportunity to attend the lectures. However, the hands-on sessions will have a limited capacity of 100 participants, with 40 attending in person and 60 joining online. Participants will be selected based on their experience, area of research, and qualifications, as indicated on the registration form.
