The BioNT (BIO Network for Training) consortium is hosting an online workshop from 4 to 8 September 2023 called A Practical Introduction to Bioinformatics and RNA-seq using Galaxy. The workshop is free of charge but subject to selection. Please note that the registration deadline is on 23 July 2023.
BioNT is an international consortium that consists of academic institutions and small and mid-sized businesses. BioNT has designed a curriculum that caters to both beginners and advanced professionals, aiming to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for managing, processing, and visualizing biological data, as well as utilizing computational biology tools.
In this workshop, you will learn about the important concepts of sequencing data analysis, along with a general overview of bioinformatics data analysis. In this tutorial, you will be taught how to utilize Galaxy, a gateway that provides free access to over 3,200 bioinformatics tools and databases, as well as how to perform a complete RNA-seq data analysis using these tools.
